Hello, I'm Caitlin.

I'm an illustrator and designer with a penchant for fantastical and mysterious things. My first and main love is watercolour, but I also work in gouache, poster paint ^✶ Nicker Colour, the same paint used by Studio Ghibli background painters , and digital mediums. Previously, I was the background painter on the video game Cuphead, creating watercolour backgrounds and game maps in the style of 1930s Fleischer and Disney animation.

I love to blend modern design with antique elements, and I draw inspiration from imagery of the past: Golden Age illustration, Medieval manuscripts, vintage playing cards and ephemera, etc. In my personal work you'll often find plants, alchemy, and science fiction in various combinations.
